Replicating Proven Success in Taiwan and the Philippines

Expanding into India’s Silicon Valley – Bengaluru

Led personally by Mr. Mao-Hsiung Huang, Chairman of Century Development Corporation., the company’s professional industrial park development and management team has long maintained close collaboration with the Indian government, serving as a key strategic partner for Taiwan’s industrial development, overseas deployment, and global expansion.

Building on its proven track record—including the successful development of Nangang Software Park, which has attracted over 400 domestic and international enterprises and generated trillions of NT dollars in industrial output; the Taipei Biotechnology Park, launched in 2023; and the overseas Subic Bay Industrial Park in the Philippines—Century Development Corporation is now expanding into Bengaluru, India’s third-largest city.

Through its Indian subsidiary, CDC Development India Pvt. Ltd., Century Development Corporation is among the few enterprises to obtain land ownership directly from the Indian government. In Bengaluru—widely known as the “Silicon Valley of India”—the company is developing a core industrial cluster for Taiwanese enterprises, while also providing end-to-end, one-stop integrated services to support factory setup and local operations.

Anchoring in Bengaluru

Building a Golden Global Axis from Taiwan to the World

Bengaluru is India’s premier hub for information technology, software startups, electronics manufacturing, EV and machinery industries, and serves as the regional headquarters for numerous multinational corporations. Kempegowda International Airport offers direct connections to more than 50 major international cities worldwide.

The TIIP Technology Innovation International Park, developed by Century Development Corporation, is strategically located only 2 kilometers from the international airport and can reach Bengaluru city center within 45 minutes, positioning it as a critical international gateway linking local operations with global markets. This prime location provides Taiwanese enterprises with a highly strategic base for entering the Indian market—offering both expansion potential and operational resilience.

Service Center Launch in 2024

Supporting Taiwanese Enterprises with Local Integration

As the first Taiwanese park developer in India to obtain land ownership from the Karnataka State Government in southern India, the park provides essential “One stop solution – three utilities and site leveling” infrastructure, including water supply, power supply, road access, and land grading, ensuring readiness for industrial development.

With the completion of the Park Service Center in 2024, comprehensive local support services will be offered to tenant Taiwanese enterprises, including customs coordination, accounting and finance, taxation, legal advisory, and talent recruitment, providing fully integrated local consulting and operational assistance to facilitate long-term deployment in India.

The park continues to expand with the planned development of standard factory buildings, supported by excellent regional connectivity. Efficient transportation links will significantly reduce logistics and delivery times, while proximity to universities and academic institutions enables access to skilled labor and opportunities for industry–academia collaboration. Combined with robust infrastructure advantages and flexible factory layouts, the park offers a highly competitive production base that supports the long-term growth and sustainability of enterprises.

Long-Term Expansion Across India

Shih Cheng Development will continue to collaborate with state governments across India to develop additional technology parks. Noida in northern India, as well as Hyderabad and Chennai in southern India, have been identified as key priority regions for future development.

Through the active expansion of its technology and commercial footprint in India, Shih Cheng Development aims to partner with Taiwanese enterprises to jointly enter and deeply cultivate the Indian market, advancing steadily and sustainably toward long-term success.
